Liver swelling can mean many things. What i am assuming here is that we are speaking about hepatitis or inflammation of the liver. The way to manage liver swelling especially when it is painful is first we need to find out what is the cause of the liver swelling and this hepatitis does it have the features of inflammation or is it something else. If you are having pain especially in your upper abdomen in the right upper quadrant or epigastrium and also experiencing symptoms like nausea that is the feeling of vomiting or decreased appetite or someone notices that your eyes are yellow i.e. jaundice see your family physician or a liver specialist.
