Night cam switches over at 23.21.58, and Aila arrives seconds later. A shape can be seen flying past the nest from left to right, Aila is fish calling, and the shape turns out to be Louis arriving with fish number three at 23.22.26. It's a good size brown trout, very nearly whole, but strangely Aila continues calling and makes no move to take it although the chicks are gathered round and obviously eager. Louis departs, and Aila seems to walk round in circles by the fish, still calling, before eventually taking it and starting the late night feed.
