North Korea has cut all official communication links with South Korea, in response to anti-Pyongyang leaflets sent from the South. It also referred to the South as an "enemy".The North has not answered any attempted contacts from the South, including calls via liaison and military communications lines. This is the first time Pyongyang has not answered daily military phone calls since the hotlines were restored in 2018. Pyongyang had previously threatened to close an inter-Korean liaison office and other projects.
