A great warm up can be a powerful tool for having strong workouts. For the #squat, a great warm up should consist of exercises that help you prep for external loading best.
In this video, we dive into seven different #exercises that can be useful when prepping for big squats. It's important to note that when building a warm up, a useful way to construct the flow of exercises is by considering necessity and practicality.
By considering the above two factors, you can create a flow that correlates best with your individual body's needs and how long you have to warm up, the equipment you have, and so forth. It's a balancing act that takes time to accomplish.
At the end of the day, we want you to find a #warmup that fits your needs best, and hopefully this video provides some ideas to try out. If you choose to tackle this warmup, note that it should be completed ~10 minutes and you should progress through these exercises quickly (within reason).
If you simply want to get under a barbell right away and use tempo/load management to warm up, then do so! This protocol is to highlight various examples and methods for considering warm ups.
