Weather Update: As December unfolded, winter began showing its wrath, leaving Delhi shivering under its icy grip. Even those huddled around bonfires couldn't help but remark, "If this continues, Delhi might just freeze." Meanwhile, the plains of Kashmir, which had been enduring a prolonged dry spell, witnessed their first snowfall in the lower regions on Thursday, painting the landscape white.
दिसंबर के महीने में सर्दियों ने अपना तेवर दिखाना शुरू किया तो दिल्ली कांपने लगी. अलाव के पास बैठे लोग ये तक कहने को मजबूर हो गए कि अगर हालात ऐसे ही रहे तो दिल्ली जम जाएगी. उधर कश्मीर के मैदानी इलाके लगातार शुष्क दौर से गुजर रहे थे लेकिन गुरुवार को निचले इलाकों में पहली बर्फबारी हुई. साथ ही हिमाचल के कई इलाकों में लगातार बर्फबारी हो रही है. यही वजह है उत्तर भारत में सर्दी ने अपने तेवर दिखा दिए हैं.
