Speaking to BharatShakti.in, Founder of ObsEye Technologies, Prasad Sathe reiterated that smaller companies working for the defence or national security sectors must be provided sops and tax holidays for a certain period of time till they can make a comeback and start delivering for the national interest.
He cautioned that working on digital & secure channels is a bigger need now, leading to reliance on such indigenous products; however, data protection, data sovereignty and privacy are much more critical in terms of usage in a defence environment.
He exhorted the government, armed forces as well as intelligence agencies to have a long term vision for cyber and digital solutions and encourage collaboration with Make in India products.
