Join me on a walking tour of Besalu, Spain, a beautiful medieval village known for its dramatic Romanesque bridge.
This is the first of the mountain villages I explored in northern Spain. It is among the most popular due to the stunning Besalu Bridge and its well-preserved medieval buildings.
I walk across the bridge and wander through the ancient cobbled streets, taking in the medieval buildings and churches. Then, I stroll alongside the River Fluvia, finishing with views of the bridge arches from beneath.
