On days we remember, reflect and honor our country's past and those who helped shape it, we want to show you just one meaningful way we honor our veterans through Honor Flight Bluegrass.
With chapters all across the country, Honor Flight takes World War II, Korean and Vietnam war veterans to our nation's capitol for just one day. While there, they visit the memorials dedicated to the wars they served in.
For some, it's a day of celebration, reflecting on the days many were just teenagers and took an oath to protect our country. For many, it's emotional, reliving some extremely traumatic scenes.
