A little something I cut together from about 10 Yucatan tourism commercials and a piece by Vangelis and Irene Pappas, a few years ago...
Oh! Gliki Mou Ear (Oh! My Sweet Spring) musical work of unknown origin, it is known that the greek musician Vangelis re-took it from a Byzantine theatrical archive (Roman Empire) dating from the year 1422 based on the Triptych.
Song lyric into English:
"The perfume-bringing women sprinkled the sepulchre of Jesus with perfume, having come very early in the morning.
Your all-pure mother started lamenting because you, Word, were dead.
And the Holy Mother was crying, with warm tears, tearing her insides.
Oh, my sweet spring, my sweetest child, where has your beauty set?
All the generations praise by a hymn your burial, my Good/Beautiful.
Oh, my sweet spring, my sweetest child, where has your beauty set?"
