The Special Inquiry into the Ruby Princess cruise ship fiasco has revealed very few COVID-19 tests were conducted on board the ship before 2,700 passengers were allowed to disembark in Sydney on March 19.
Council assisting revealed on Tuesday that there were only 25 virus testing kits available on the ship, only 13 of which were used.
Special Commissioner Bret Walker rejected a statement by epidemiologist Kelly-Anne Ressler during her examination on Tuesday in which she said the cruise ship giant refused to cooperate with NSW Health.
About 1,000 infections and 21 fatalities have been linked to the Ruby Princess cruise ship.
