Sydney's Epping-Chatswood railway line was opened in Feburary 2009. The line runs from Epping on the T1 Northern line to Chatswood on the T1 North Shore line, with intermediate stations at Macquarie University, Macquarie Park and North Ryde.
The line originally ran as a standalone shuttle service, before being added to the Northern Line. On the 30th of September it closed for conversion to rapid transit. Upon reopening in early 2019, it will become part of Sydney Metro Northwest.
