Heroes of the Crease: Goaltending Museum and Memorabilia Ltd is proud to bring to you the second episode of our exciting new series "A Piece of History & The NHL Story Of...".
This episode is all about Ray "Razor" Emery, a goalie who was as famous for his goaltending as he was for the physicality and aggression that he brought to his game! A tragic accident unfortunately took him from the world at the young age of 35. Learn about his hockey journey in this video and see the exciting game worn piece of history of his that we have at our museum that immortalizes both his pro hockey journey and his life!
The purpose of this video series is to focus on a new NHL goalie each episode by telling a biographical, educational, and hopefully entertaining story about their career (with a focus on the goalie's NHL escapades), and then relate it to a game worn "Piece of History" of the athlete that we have preserved in our goaltending museum. The purpose of the series is not to focus on various players' off-ice demons, nor to judge any players for any actions that they may have taken during their careers or beyond.
