A treat for you guys - last month I partook in a short film competition led by Kevin Smith and his theater, SModcastle Cinemas. It had to be developed, written, casted, shit, and edited all within 37 hours. 155 films submitted, 37 were selected and we were not only a part of that 37, but he we headlined the final section of shorts! I hope you enjoy what was made in just 37hrs/
We had to have 3 elements which are
1. Hockey stick prop
2. Riff on the character Rick Derris from Kevin's first film Clerks
3. Include the line verbatim - "How come we went out as long as we did? You had cable"
