"Lo-Fi" music has gained significant popularity in recent years, with its eclectic blend of R&B, hip hop, jazz, and pop influences permeating both popular and commercial music. This genre is characterized by its intentional use of low-fidelity sound, incorporating elements typically considered imperfections in traditional high-fidelity recordings. These imperfections might include background noise, distortion, and analog warmth, all of which contribute to a nostalgic and relaxed atmosphere.

Musicians and producers can utilize various vintage and modern tools to achieve the Lo-Fi sound. In this video, we will focus on a trio of pedals from Caroline Guitar Company that I frequently use to create this distinctive sound. The Caroline Meteore, Caroline Kilobyte, and Caroline Somersault.
