Albania has a strong desire to start a citizenship-by-investment program similar to Malta, Cyprus, and Turkey. Although the European Union has strongly objected to the Albanian citizenship by investment program the government of Albania still wants to go ahead with the CIB program. We are waiting for the official details and I will share that once it's released.
