Welcome to Robbie Travels and In this video I am going to show you the best places to visit Madrid Spain, such as Atocha Train Station, Retiro Park, and Puerta de Alcalá.

Madrid is the bustling capital of Spain, is the country’s most visited city and the most popular cities in Europe. Even though the city is large, the historic core is easily walkable, making jetting from place to place a breeze. Madrid offers sights to lure any type of traveler, from grand palaces, lush parks, famous museums, chic neighborhoods filled with designer stores, hipster cafes, and bustling food markets.

The number of foreign tourists who visit Madrid continues to grow due to its rich culture, its numerous landmarks, great nightlife and fun activities. In Madrid, you can feel the true essence of Spain, in its elegant architecture, the life in its plazas and the delicious cuisine.

Retiro is the most important park in Madrid, and one of the most popular places to visit both for locals and tourists. It's 118 hectares of green space in the very centre of the city.

El Retiro is packed with things to see like monuments, galleries, statues, lakes and magnificent buildings. There are also numerous activities on every day, from yoga, roller-blading, puppet shows, musicians, fortune tellers and stands with food and different objects for sale.

The Puerta de Alcalá is one of Madrid’s most famous landmarks. This neo-classical triumphal arch is situated in Plaza de la Independencia (Independence Square), close to one of El Retiro’s main entrances. The granite gate is 19.5 metres tall and is elegant and well-proportioned. The façade features a number of decorative elements with groups of sculptures, capitals, reliefs and masks, among others.
