I'm no HVAC tec so you'll have to forgive me that these are actually called rotary compressors, not scrolls.
Test run of a General(Japanese manufacturer) brand scroll compressor from an old window aircon unit.
This compressor was roughly torn out of an old AC unit at my local scrap yard, but I have managed to find its original starting gear, and this is its first run since being scrapped.
All I did was open up the suction and discharge tubes, set the panel switches to run and the thermostat to off before connecting power.
