A short video taken during the delivery of a Sealine 410 power boat. The trip was an owner assist, and here's what the owner said:

"After much thought about the pros and cons of getting my boat delivered by road or sea from Lymington to Swansea, I'm now delighted that I chose a sea delivery and even more delighted that I chose Halcyon Yachts to do an assisted delivery with me.

For road haulage I would have had to remove my Bomber mast with Radar and antennas as well as the props plus a lift out at Lymington and then a lift in at Swansea with props being refitted at the quayside. So a sea delivery was significantly more economical, but more importantly, I would have missed out on a fantastic experience that I will always remember. I got to see just what my new boat could handle in slightly challenging conditions around the Lizard, confident in the thought that I had an experienced yacht master and Skipper.

The trip in two legs with an overnight stop at Falmouth was brilliant. The skipper was great company, extremely professional but with a great sense of humour which on a long passage also helps to make it fun.

Many thanks to the team at Halcyon, Why anybody would consider a road delivery now and miss out on this experience I just don't know. I now see why they are the first port of call for many people when seeking boat deliveries. I will not hesitate to recommend Halcyon and extol the virtues of sea delivery.."
