About this video: (Please read!)

After watching the awesome Eve Online trailer put together by JunoLibertas (link in credits) several times, I realized that it wasn't in HD. So I decided to recreate the video as closely as possible, but in HD.

I went to great effort to make the two videos as close as possible. That said there are a few points where they differ, most notably of course is the quality, but there are also various points that happen sooner or later than they do in the original. Ultimately, however, I like to think that my version is an improvement over the original.

As an aside, in the original, the stargate transition seen at the beginning was copied from CCP's 2013 fanfest presentation and is the first time that the new stargate transition was seen. Because of this, however, it was very low quality. This is not very noticeable in the original because the whole video is in lower quality, but I knew it wouldn't work for my video.

So I went to that exact stargate in-game and went back and forth through it a few times, then pulled that footage into my video resulting in a very nice, HD stargate transition.
