Ingredients
Rice flour-2cup
Grated coconut -2cup
Cumin seeds-1/4tsp
water-1 1/2cup
sugar – 1 tsp
salt – 1 or 2 tsp
ghee – 1 tsp
method
firstly take a bowl add 1 cup of grated coconut and water mix and squeeze them well,drain and set
aside.
Take a pan add rice flour ,cumin seed,grated coconut mix them well.
Then add water and make soft dough.
Then make small balls and set aside.
Heat water in a steamer and place idli plates .
Then place banana leaves on the top of the idli plates.
Then steam the rice balls in a steamer .steam the balls till they are well cooked.
Then transfer the cooked rice balls into a bowl and add some ghee on the top.
Take a small bowl add coconut milk and sugar mix them well .then pour the coconut milk into the
rice ball bowl .
Serve and enjoy the maniputtu recipe.
