The Secret to Better Quad Cortex Presets (No Neural Captures Required!)
The secret to better Quad Cortex presets might be simpler than you thought. It's so easy to get caught up in the hype of neural captures, and they really do sound amazing! But there's a big problem with them: making adjustments to captures causes them to drift further and further away from the device they are trying to emulate. So what's the alternative? It could the one many of us have overlooked- using the internal amp models and FX.

In this video, I’ll show you how to create a high-performing, flexible preset entirely with internal effects. We'll explore:

• Choosing the perfect stereo amp pair.
• My favorite overdrives, modulations, delays, and reverbs.
• How to test and refine presets live for the best tone.

Finally, we’ll put this preset to the test against a fully loaded Quad Cortex pedalboard featuring a BigSky and HX Stomp. Can internal effects hold their own live? Let’s find out!
