Welcome back to our YouTube Channel. Previously, we’ve shown you a quick video of a Data Cabling Installation with a little extra.
Today, we are showing you another video of one of our installations. We just opened our Reading, PA office and this is our Reading Team in action. This time, we are doing a standard quick Warehouse Network Cabling Installation.
One of the things Bridge Cable is proud of and had been one of the reasons why clients choose us and trust us for a second experience, is our quick turnaround. This is a job for a repeat client done in a 25-foot high ceiling warehouse in Philadelphia area.
As explained and seen in the video, they run the cables straight right up to the very top, gathered in the center and branches out cables in different areas. This is a CAT6 Data Cabling job and was done very nice, neat, and tight to make sure that the warehouse is damage-free.
A CAT6 Data Cable is a standardized twisted pair cable for Ethernet for better and faster connection. This is an improved CAT5/CAT5e data cable. An interesting thing about CAT6 installation is that, CAT6 must be properly installed and terminated to make it work and meet specifications. The cable must not be kinked or bent too tightly, the wire pairs must not be untwisted and the outdoor jacket must not be stripped back more than 0.5 in. It also requires cable shielding to improve a CAT 6 cable performance. This basically means that Bridge Cable had been an expert of a crisp and outstanding installations in the past years.
Back in the video as it runs, it shows a center pole with a neat installation of network jacks at the bottom. Another wonderful thing Bridge Cable always do in their installation is being proactive. They left service loops in this installation just in case there will be any changes to be made within a couple of feet.
