Emma Woodhouse is wealthy, clever and seems to be pretty content with her life. She has a loving father for whom she cares, good friends, and a comfortable home. She, however, has a terrible weakness: matchmaking and meddling in the affairs and lives of others. She cannot resist finding suitors for her friends, most of all Harriet Smith. Emma is so desperate for Harriet to find happiness. Every suitor she finds for her friend ends up falling in love with Emma. While Emma fixated on arranging Harriet's happiness will she find her own or will she be blinded by her selfish desires that her own happiness in love will escape her? Will she find love for herself or will meddling get the best of her?
