Preparations are well underway to erect the first two of ACCIONA's AW3000 3MW wind turbine generators in North America. This video shows the excavation of the site where one of the turbines will be erected in Cedar County, Iowa. The hole will soon be filled with steel and concrete and will serve as a base of the 100 meter tower topped by a 108 ton nacelle produce clean energy for Iowa and that will stand at this site for many years to some.
