Walkthrough of 230008, a 3-car Class 230 operating with Transport for Wales/Trafnidiaeth Cymru exclusively on the Borderlands line between Wrexham Central and Bidston. This train was about to depart Bidston with 2J92 1847 to Wrexham Central/Wrecsam Canolog calling at/yn galw yn: Upton (1850), Heswall (1857), Neston (1902), Shotton (1911), Hawarden/Penarlâg (1916), Buckley/Bwcle (1921), Penyffordd (1924), Hope (Clwyd) (1928), Caergwrle (1930), Cefn-y-Bedd (1932), Gwersyllt (1936), Wrexham General/Wrecsam Cyffredinol (1942) and Wrexham Central/Wrecsam Canolog (1944)
These trains are converted from old District line D78 Stock trains. Like the S Stock that replaced the D Stock, the Class 230s on the Borderlands line are fully walkthrough. I'll definitely go to the Isle of Wight some time in the near future!
