Dulcie is only 2 years old in this video - not even 2 1/2 yet. This carnival is a GREAT place to work a dog. Doesn't get much more distracting. She is soooo into the exercises she tends to anticipate commands a bit - well anticipate lot especially if a retrieve - say her name before the command and she is already in motion executing the command. Much easier to slow a dog down than trying to get one motivated to do it with energy who isn't into it. (And I can' throw a dumbbell straight on a bet with a permanent injury to the right shoulder but she does it anyhow - however it wasn't fair to ask her to keep searching for dumbbell that had landed behind a fence panel flat up against it)
She is wearing her e-collar as a safety measure since she is working off-lead only 30 feet or so from a road. Gives me an electronic "leash" in an emergency.
The super-fluffy butt hair makes her rear look like the wild woman of Borneo and gives the false impression she is too high behind.
