EP 128 Judas Priest - No Surrender

"No Surrender" is a track written by Glenn Tipton, Rob Halford and Richie Faulkner for Judas Priest's 2018 album, "Firepower". A music video showing the band in the studio was also filmed for the song. The bass player is Ian Hill and the part uses Drop D tuning (D / A / D / G - low to high)

I used Moises.ai to remove the bass from the original track. I then recorded my Ibanez SR500 into Reason 12 using an ART DI Box into an Audient ID14 MK1 interface. I processed the bass using a compressor, the Ampeg SVT Classic plugin from Plugin Alliance, Kuassa's GQ 3607 Graphic EQ rack extension and Reason's Quartet chorus rack extension.

The footage was filmed using a Samsung A52 smartphone using the OpenCamera app. The onscreen tab was created by synching the Guitar Pro file with the audio track using Go PlayAlong 4 and capturing the result using NCH Debut. I then added the titles and edited everything together using DaVinci Resolve 18.
