This is the best-kept secret in Grand Teton National Park. String Lake is one of our favorite spots in all of the Tetons and in our opinion is a best-kept secret. We have visited this location multiple times throughout our travels to Grand Teton National Park and we have even had a few locals ask us how we found this spot. Close to the neighboring Jenny lake that everyone flocks to if you are looking for a spot where you can find a parking spot and find a nice quiet area to set up an eno or go rock jumping out on the lake then string lake is your spot. Is the perfect little secret and something we wanted to share with you guys! As always depending on what time of year you go it can be crowded due to the demand that these parks get with visitors but it is a good option if you are trying to avoid the super crowded Jenny lake and still want to do some kayaking, paddle boarding, or swimming.
