With all the engine power you need a transmission to match so the rebuilt 3-speed Turbo 400 is up for the job with a 3,200 RPM anti-balloon blower converter, and TCI Trans-Brake. How do you get all that power to the ground? With the Ford 9inch full locker from Mark Moser, 4:30 gear ration and 40 spline axles, and Weld racing aluminum wheels and Hoosier tires. Climb inside the caged GMC and strap into the racing bucket seats with RJS 3inch 5 point harness belts. Staring you in the face you will see the AutoMeter tachometer and the B&M Shifter.
