Before Coronavirus hit Africa so badly, I travelled to Zanzibar via Dar es Salaam by Kenya Airways. I made a small video of the beautiful airport in Dar es Salaam. Enjoy.

~Julius Nyerere International Airport is located in the largest city in Tanzania; Dar es Salaam.
~It was formerly known as Dar es Salaam International Airport(DIA) but renamed to JNIA in 2005. It is named after the nation's first President Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.
~This airport built in 1980 has flights to destinations in Africa, Europe and Middle East.
~Hub for Air Tanzania(TC) and Precision Air(PW)
~Has two runways(3000m & 1000m)
~ Has Three Terminals:
i) Terminal 1-Handles chartered & private flights
ii) Terminal 2- Used for Domestic & Regional scheduled flights. It is designed to resemble a forest canopy
iii) Terminal 3- The newest terminal in which is flew from. Was opened in August 2019. Handles international flights.
~Airport receives an average of 2.3M passengers annually(2017).
~ Some airlines flying from the airport include:
Air Zimbabwe, Egypt Air, Emirates, Ethiopian, Fly 540, Fly Dubai, Kenya Airways, South African Airways, KLM, Qatar, Uganda Airlines, RwandAir among others.
