Having lived in both Lagos and Accra it is really interesting to compare the two. Both cities are amazing and filled with beautiful people, an astounding culture and so much to offer tourists and residents. In this video I break down my personal experience in the the two cities- and the differences that stood out the most to me.
Lagos- Way more advanced technologically, amazing nightlife, infrastructurally light years ahead, good school systems, great tourism options, more diversity and beautiful beaches.
Accra- Better street food and cuisine options, small town vibes with a mix of city (it's giving African Atlanta), culturally more relevant to African-Americans who are looking for a diaspora experience, less colonial intervention and systemic racism issues Better School System.
Differences in social culture, night life, climate, infrastructure- there's a lot that I'm breaking down. This is just my opinion as a Nigerian Living in Accra- no tea, no shade. Enjoy!
