Time for another adventure with us to learn about desert wonders. This one is all about a desert cactus that is both beautiful & sometimes frightening. And we’re going to demonstrate exactly how this thing sticks into you. The cholla can be found in places like the Mojave desert (where Heather got one in the side of her leg unknowingly) and the Arizona deserts, such as the Sonoran desert (where Kluane dog first learned the hard way about desert life). We have since all become a lot smarter when it comes to trampling around the desert and avoiding close contact with all kinds of cacti. We even ate cactus along the way! I guess travel and adventure really does change us! Enjoy!
