Fuchs Heterochromatic Iridocyclitis [FHI]:@0:10
Usually U/L Uveitis
Seen in young age
Idiopathic
TRIAD → Heterochromia + Cataract + Diffuse KPs
Low grade inflammation → No remarkable symptoms until cataract formation -Presents as young patient wit U/L Cataract
Fuchs Heterochromatic Iridocyclitis [FHI]:
On Examination:@1:15
Heterochromia
Cataract
Diffuse KPs
AMSLER’S SIGN → Paracentesis [entering AC], causes Hyphema
No posterior Synechiae → FHI
Uveitis with max. predisposition to Glaucoma → Herpetic Uveitis
Sarcoidosis:@2:06
Can cause
Anterior Uveitis [mc]
Posterior Uveitis
Intermediate Uveitis
Pan Uveitis
2nd MC presentation → Uveitis
MC presentation → B/L Lymphadenopathy
More common in coloured races
More common in 20-50 yrs Females

Presents at 2 weeks → 2 months after injury
DALEN FUCH’S NODULES on choroid seen
MC seen in children
Earliest symptom → Photophobia in good eye
→ Accommodation failure in good eye
Earliest sign → Retrolental Flare (Vitreous Flare)
→ Mutton Fat KPs
→ Hypotony

Injured Eye:
PL → -ve - Enucleation of Injured eye
6/60 vision - Repair of Injured eye - PL → -ve - High dose Systemic Steroids for Sympathetic eye
Ocular HIV:
MC ocular manifestation
Cotton wool spots
Soft Exudates
HIV Retinopathy
Commonest ocular infection → CMV Retinitis
Crumbled cheese and tomato ketchup / pizza pie appearance
Brush fire appearance
Ocular HIV:@7:03
MC ocular tumor → Kaposi Sarcoma more than Lymphoma
MC Systemic infection in HIV
MC cause of death in HIV
Above cause is Tuberculosis
Commonest cause of Soft Exudates → Diabetes Retinopathy / HTN
Commonest ocular S/E of HAART Therapy → Immune Recovery Uveitis (anterior/intermediate)
