This is the 3rd transcription I have done from Lewis Taylor's debut album. He was really channeling James Jamerson imo when he recorded the bass for this song. Lots of 'outside' chromaticism that just works. Watch the notes, it goes all over the place ;-)
Really happy with the sound I am getting with the Lakland on these tracks - combined with Cytomic The Drop and The Glue it gets really close to that nice phat sound reminiscent of the Motown 60s recordings
