The suspects initially approached the Head Start portable by prying the door open. Once inside, they removed a Dell laptop computer. In addition to the damage to the door and door frame, the young men also removed a fire extinguisher and activated it in the classroom, resulting in damage to three desktop computers. The trio then moved on and kicked in three additional classroom doors, breaking off handles and door frames. In total, school officials estimate $1,800 in damage to the classrooms.
