That said, here is one about a plant in the same genus (Cymbopogon) and often; incorrectly; sold as lemongrass. I decided to do this one to help dispel the misinformation which could potentially be harmful if applied without true understanding. Not sure if that makes sense. Anyway, I bought a young plant labeled as lemongrass from a local nursery in my area. I was skeptical about the identification and knew that time would tell… and it did. So, take a look at this and be sure you are able to tell the difference. It could spell the difference between making a distasteful Thai curry that could send you guests to the ER. Worst case scenario, you could die.
