I cruised on NCL Getaway from New Orleans for 7 nights on the December 8th sailing. I stayed in cabin 12130.

⭐️⭐️⭐️
I stayed in a BA Category Balcony cabin, 12130. This particular cabin has two twin beds that convert to a king, a sofa bed and a pulldown sleeper bed. There is also a vanity area and the balcony came with 2 deck chairs and a small side table. The balcony was rather small compared to some of the other balconies I’ve had on other ships. The cabin overall was serviceable. However, the cabin was generally not the cleanest and could use a good scrub (particularly in the bathroom). On the other hand, my steward kept the balcony in immaculate condition. Other balcony cabins on this cruise were caked in sea salt and mine was always clean.
I was cruising solo, so the size was great for me. The beds were not particularly comfortable and would separate where the two twin beds were put together. There was charging available on both sides of the bed along with reader lamps, which was great. The vanity area also had plenty of charging ports both the US and European style charging ports. The TV was on the smaller side and had all of the major news networks, two TV channels that would play an assortment of movies throughout the day and one TV channel that played kids TV shows. The bathroom was a good size, but it did not have strong water pressure at all (not in the toilet, shower or sink). I’ve never experienced this issue on a cruise ship before. The cabin was well insulated by the cabin walls and I never heard my neighbors. This cabin has a particularly thick wall connecting to 12128 and my neighbor claimed to be playing loud music most of the day but I never heard anything. There was ample closet space and hangers for a solo cruiser. I never had a lack of space or a need for more charging outlets.
As a tip, don’t forget to call and ask for a bath robe to be delivered to your stateroom.
Overall, the cabin was serviceable for my 7 night sailing. There was plenty of space as a solo cruiser but it could have been a little cleaner and more comfortable. 3/5 stars.
