In the leg there is femur, patella, tibia and fibula. If the fracture has occurred at the ankle joint after the casting is removed immediately we will make the patient to walk. If it is the hip bone or thigh bone fracture the POP is taken out after 4 to 6 weeks and we insist them to walk. The fibula is a supporting bone and it doesn’t have a major issue. With the casting also the patient can start walking.
