In this webinar, Sophia Kruszewski from the Center for Agriculture and Food Systems at Vermont Law School (CAFS) and Elizabeth Newbold from NECAFS shared the outputs of their joint project that identified, researched, and developed educational resources relating to key legal questions associated with compliance with the FSMA Produce Safety Rule. NECAFS and CAFS worked together to research commonly asked FSMA Produce Safety Rule legal questions and create educational resources that provide clarity and understanding for producers and food processors. Elizabeth and Sophia talked about the range of topics covered in the educational material created, including: legal liability, variation in state implementation, farms with multiple business entities, and more.
