Using the Tunap system, you can clean the soot and ash from the DPF with the unit still on the vehicle.
This saves both time and money, and allows the DPF system to be reset and a regeneration to be completed where before the soot load was too high.
This vehicle has a soot load of 80 grams which prevented regeneration from taking place. Once the cleaning process had been completed, and then a static regeneration completed, the soot level was at 0 grams, differential pressure was reduced to 2 mbar at idle speed and exhaust flow volume was improved by over 20%.
