This is the annual Donut meeting, where the prize for getting on the podium is a Trophy and a bag of Donuts, but the riders come for the enjoyment of having a good days racing. In this 50+ race programme, and with a lot of the GT140 and Youth riders staying on from their British Championships from the day before, there was plenty of competition. Plus the added attraction of 500cc and Upright Solo's, plus 500cc Sidecars, and the 1000cc RH Sidecars. A cracking little meeting, and the club did a pretty good job of keeping the dust under control.
In the 1000cc RH Sidecar we saw a very determined Will Offen/Ricky Pay take of Paul Whitelam/Richard Webb in a superb heat of close racing, and Shane Freeman did an excellent job going on the bars in the 500cc Sidecar class.
