MCAs have yet again initiated a process to remove from office the county governor Kawira Mwangaza. The Minority whip in the county assembly Dennis Kiogora filed a fresh notice of motion for the impeachment of the governor. In the notice filed on Tuesday, the governor is on the spot for nepotism, violation of public finance management laws plus an array of other accusations similar to the ones in the initial impeachment motion filed against her. And as Laura Otieno reports, Kawira has however accused the assembly of violating her rights by disregarding an existing court order that barred the assembly from proceeding with the initial impeachment motion pending the hearing and determination of the case.
