Taken during the heatwave when harvest was in full swing and while filming a John Deere X9 cutting in the same field, but this field was very long so didnt manage to get both in same shot ( See Cards for the X9). Here's contractor Stuart Partners with one of their two identical outfits baling straw with their Fendt 939 Vario with Krone BiGPack 1290 and a Krone bale accumulator. A first for seeing one of these in action grouping the bales for ease of collecting. The bale collector can group the bales and discharge in different amounts for ease of picking up. Straw contractor Michael Pidsley with their JCB 542.70 AGRIXTRA clearing the bales at speed. The bales are then stacked in lorry loads, not one huge stack due to arsonists previous years setting stacks on fire. With thanks to them for letting me film. Filmed in Hampshire, UK.
