On site it took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on with the nearly 100% gas bypass which turned out to be the reversing valve however in post edit here I applied a notch filter to the audio track that greatly reduced the loud humming of the compressor and now the bypassing hot gas can clearly be heard when I look into the panel where the reversing valve is located.

Looks like I'll get to change that badboy!
