Ontario Premier Doug Ford said his government will explore building a tunnel for drivers and transit across the Greater Toronto Area — and beneath Highway 401. The Ministry of Transportation will look at the potential for a tunnel running about 55 kilometres. It’s a move his opponents have slammed.
