When it comes to climate change, UBC Prof. Stephen Sheppard and Adjunct Prof. David Flanders know that pictures speak louder than words. The Decision Theatre at UBC's Collaborative for Advanced Landscape Planning (CALP) uses computer-generated visualizations, grounded in scientific data, to help communities and policymakers understand the local impacts of climate change and visualize the results of different mitigation strategies.
