Former Maharashtra chief minister and leader of the opposition in Maharastra, Devendra Fadnavis hailed the victory of BJP in recently concluded Rajya Sabha elections in Maharahtra. Devendra Fadnavis said that it was a "convincing" victory and attributed it to meticulous planning as well as teamwork. BJP candidates - Union minister Piyush Goyal, former state minister Dhananjay Mahadik and Anil Bonde - won the fiercely-fought elections, NCP's Praful Patel, Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut and Congress' Imran Pratapgarhi also came out victorious.
