In tonight's episode6 of Station 19, Vic was sacked by the Mayor. He was bearing down on Ross, the Fire Chief. He was pressuring her to fire Vic on his behalf. It was not what she wanted to do. She also rejected justifications for it. They both knew that was a lie, but he insisted he would have found a way to shield CrisisOne if Vic hadn't embarrassed him in front of others.
