Open Valley House, designed by RAVSTUDIO, is located near the village of Tapalpa, Mexico, and blends harmoniously with the surrounding forest landscape. The house is a single linear volume that follows the land's natural topography and is divided into two main areas: the social space and the bedroom area. The social area, featuring an open kitchen, dining, and living space, is designed to maximize the surrounding views, while the bedroom area offers privacy with adjustable windows. The house's material palette includes local stone, glass, and various woods, creating a natural aesthetic. The structure is a hybrid of traditional methods and prefabricated materials, with steel beams accentuating its linear design. Overall, the house seamlessly integrates with its environment, combining functionality and warmth.
