Croat forces and Bosnian government forces have met up on the Bosnian-Croat border after days of intense fighting in the Krajina area.
Although the forces met up yesterday the two sides staged a reconstruction of the historic event at the small town of Tracka-Rastela, 20 kms north west of Bihac
Croat forces on their way to meet up with their Bosnian counterparts the BiH.
First to arrive is a Croat tank, piled high with happy soldiers, pleased with their victory over the Krajina Serbs.
The town is situated on the river Korana and on the other side of the bridge their allies the Bosnian government forces were waiting for them.
Then the Croat commander arrived and greet his Bosnian counterpart.
After the two chiefs had exchanged formalities it was the turn of the ordinary soldier to embrace their fellow comrades.
Meanwhile Croat soldiers were also celebrating in Petrinja, used by the Krajinan Serbs to launch artillery attacks on Zagreb and Sisak.
The Croatian army rumbles on, continuing its assault against the Krajinan Serbs.
